Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has managed to achieve something which both Luis Enrique and Pep Guardiola never managed during their time in charge at the Camp Nou.

With the victory over Eibar on Tuesday night, Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the season, winning their opening five league games, which also happen to be Valverde's first five league games as Barcelona boss.

Thanks to this run of consecutive victories, the Spanish coach has surpassed Guardiola and Enrique, two of the greatest managers in the history of the Catalan club, as they didn't manage to win their first five league games in charge at the Camp Nou.

Valverde adds his name to the short list of coaches who emerged victorious in their first five La Liga matches with Barcelona. Terry Venables, Louis Van Gaal, Tito Vilanova and Gerardo Martino are the only ones to do it.

Interestingly, all of the aforementioned managers went on to win the La Liga title in their first year in the Barcelona dugout, apart from 'Tata' Martino who lost out on the final day to Atletico after drawing against them at the Camp Nou.
