Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde, revealed that Ousmane Dembélé's absence against Getafe on Saturday was due to "a slight nigle" that he hopes "doesn't last, although he didn't want to ensure 100% that the Frenchman would play against Inter in the Champions League.

Valverde didn't include Dembélé in the squad against Getafe "more as a precaution than an injury".

"After the Villarreal match he trained well, but on Friday we included 19 players just in case because he had a slight niggle and I hope it doesn't last", Valverde said in his press conference.

About the possibility of Dembélé being available for the match against Inter, he said "we have to wait. We have Ansu out with a patellar tendon injury and Messi also out, therefore I would like to have players for Wednesday, but I don't know about Dembélé".
