Valencia have decided to exercise the purchase options on two of their loan players, Hugo Duro and Omar Alderete. For the centre-back, the club wants the player to put pressure on Hertha Berlin to lower his price.
The good performances of Hugo Duro and Omar Alderete, throughout the season, have convinced Valencia to make their purchase clauses effective, in the absence of it being official.
'AS' assured that the 'che' club is going to keep both players. Both have an option of four million euros for the striker and 7.5 million euros for the centre-back to take over the ownership of their rights.
Valencia are aware that Hugo Duro's value is greater than the four million they have to pay Getafe to keep the striker.
With Omar Alderete, Valencia want to force the negotiation a little more. He intends to have the defender himself act as an intermediary to lower the 7.5 million euro price tag for his signing.
The Paraguayan centre-back is happy at Valencia. He has made his place in José Bordalás' starting XI and wants to continue in the ranks of the Spanish team.
