Jose Mourinho will be forced into a defensive reshuffle for Manchester United's midweek game at Selhurst Park, with the defender set to serve a one-game ban.

Manchester United are set to be without the services of Antonio Valencia after he picked up his fifth booking of the season in Sunday's clash with Tottenham at Old Trafford.

The Ecuadorian saw yellow after 31 minutes for a late challenge on Danny Rose, earning him an automatic one-match ban.

The news will be a blow to Jose Mourinho who will be forced into a reshuffle, with Valencia having established himself as first-choice right-back this season.

However, the Portuguese does have options with Matteo Darmian, who has featured at left-back recently, one alternative while Timothy Fosu-Mensah could also come into the team.

United head to Selhurst Park on Wednesday to face a Palace side just three points off the drop zone and with just one win in their last nine games.
