Valencia's official Twitter account commented on the penalty given against them against Real Madrid with a reference to the Netflix series 'Money Heist'. Shortly afterwards, Gerard Pique had his say on the matter.

Real Madrid took the lead against Valencia after a penalty was awarded to Real Madrid when Alderete was adjudged to have fouled Casemiro in the area. Replays seemed to suggest that the Real Madrid man went more towards the defender than vice-versa, but the on-field call stood.

After the incident, Valencia's Twitter account made their anger very clear: "Robberies in Madrid are starting to become something that happens repeatedly," and then tag the profile of Netflix series 'Money Heist' which is about several robberies which occur in the Spanish capital.

Karim Benzema converted the spot kick to make it 1-0 just before the break and 'Los Blancos' ended up winning 4-1.
