Coach Oscar Tabarez has made four changes to the starting line-up that beat Saudi Arabia last week as he opts for a 3-5-2 to defeat Russia.

Monday afternoon brings a top-of-the-table clash between 'La Celeste' and the World Cup hosts after both secured qualification to the Round of 16 during the second round of group fixtures.

Following two rather lacklustre performances, Uruguay have made four changes to their line-up in Samara.

Jose Gimenez is sidelined after he sustained a minor injury midweek and has been replaced by Sebastian Coates in defence.

Tabarez has also opted to change from a back-four to a back-three, allowing more fluidity in attack through five midfielders.

Those central positions have undergone a change of personnel. Diego Laxalt, Lucas Torreira and Nahitan Nandez have been promoted from the bench in place of Guillermo Varela, Carlos Sanchez and Cristian Rodriguez.

Here is Uruguay's full XI: Muslera; Godin (c), Coates, Caceres; Bentancur, Nandez, Torreira, Vecino, Laxalt; Suarez, Cavani.
