'The Times' reports that the Champions League reforms for the 2024-25 season will see two places to two big clubs who miss out on the Champions League via their league position thanks to their UEFA coefficient. The aim is to prevent big name clubs from missing out on the Champions League.

UEFA are preparing to make changes to the Champions League ahead of the 2024-25 season in a bid to stave off the threat of the European Super League. 'The Times' says that some clubs will get another way to qualify for the tournament.

Two clubs will qualify for the Champions League based on their UEFA coefficient irregardless of where they have finished in the league. For example, Real Madrid, who have a very good UEFA coefficient, could still play in the Champions League even if they finish outside the top four.

The source mentioned in the first paragraph, that said, warns that UEFA are not very clear if they will go ahead with this. In particular, Alexander Ceferin doubts whether it is the best idea. The aim is to keep fans, clubs and professionals happy.

There is more than enough time to decide on these changes because there are still two years to go until the start of the new Champions League era. It is viral to study every detail so that there are no last minute changes and nobody ends up unhappy.
