The teams of Russia and Kosovo will not be able to face each other in UEFA competitions, according to the decision of the UEFA Emergency Panel, adopted after taking into account the security risks surrounding the matches between them.

UEFA announced on Friday the decision taken by its panel at this week's meeting, also stating that remain in place until further notice.

The UEFA also confirmed that the qualifying matches for the women's U-21 European Championship, in which both teams must face each other in Group A, will be organised by the respective federations on neutral ground.

There is also a  Kosovo-Russia, initially scheduled for 4 October and postponed to a date yet to be determined, and Russia-Kosovo, scheduled for 9 June 2020.
