Turan could return to Galatasaray in January
According to 'AS', Barcelona's Arda Turan could make a January return to his homeland, with Turkish club Galatasaray hoping to resign the midfielder.
Turan swapped Atletico Madrid for Barcelona in the summer of 2015, but has struggled to break into the starting XI ever since.
However, according to the Spanish publication, the 30-year-old's career could be about to receive a much need boost as Galatasaray are keen on bringing the playmaker home.
Before moving to Atletico Madrid in 2011, Turan was the captain of the Turkish club. Six years on, Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek is hoping he can return and rejuvenate his career.
With the World Cup just around the corner, Turkey's captain will certainly be hoping for more minutes on the pitch, meaning he could be tempted to return to the club where he developed as a youth player.
