Leandro Trossard has admitted he would love to play for Chelsea. Brighton's Belgian international is clear that he would follow in the footsteps of Graham Potter, although his desire is not for the Blues bench, but to continue his career as a professional player.

Speaking to 'Het Niuewsblad', Leandro Trossard, a key player at Brighton & Hove Albion, has admitted that he would love to play for Chelsea in the future.

The 27-year-old Belgian has explained that he would be delighted to follow in the footsteps of Graham Potter, who only a few weeks ago left Brighton to join the Blues.

"I feel very good. We had a very good start with Brighton. I have improved a lot. Now I know how the Premier League works. I've grown a lot in that. I'm confident now, both mentally and physically," said the former Genk player.

And he added on the rumours placing him at Stamford Bridge: "Our coach went to Chelsea now, but the speculation about whether I'm going to follow him is nonsense. If the opportunity comes up, I want to go. But I want to go to play, not to sit on the bench.
