Tottenham open talks with Ousmane Dembele
The French wonderkid has been scouted by a host of European giants already this season, including Barcelona, but Spurs hope to secure the 18-year-old's signature
France Football are reporting that Tottenham have begun talks with the 18-year-old Rennes winger who is one of Europe's hottest talents ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old has been in incredible form this season, scoring 12 goals and grabbing five assists in 21 appearances in Ligue 1, as fifth-placed Rennes chase a Champions League berth.
Despite intrest from huge clubs such as Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and PSG, it seems as thoigh Tottenham are leading the race, having initiated preliminary talks with the star.
The player's agent is reported to have met with Spurs officials in London last week to discuss a potential deal, with his current club Rennes looking for a fee of around £30 million.
