Mauricio Pochettino wants Tottenham to maintain momentum from their win over Chelsea and avoid stumbling on the same stone they did last October.

All is good right now at the Tottenham camp following their morale-boosting win over Premier League leaders Chelsea on 4 January, but the Spurs manager has a sense of deja-vu as West Brom come to White Hart Lane on Saturday.

"Remember a few months ago after City? I think now it's a moment to show we've learned," Pochettino said on Thursday.

"If you remember our performance dropped a bit after a fantastic victory."

Tottenham had defeated Manchester City in October but then went seven games without a victory.

"After Chelsea it's a great opportunity to show that we deserve it and to keep our momentum is key," said Pochettino.

"Today it's about maturity and learning from this period. It doesn't mean that we will win every game.

"It's important to show that maturity we did against Chelsea, that is important for trying to be more realistic and fighting for a bigger objective."
