Tottenham considers Conte to replace Nuno
Following a harsh defeat against Manchester United, Nuno Espirito Santo's future at Spurs is on the line. The board already has Antonio Conte in mind to replace the Portuguese manager.
Following last season's Serie A title, Antonio Conte left Inter Milan and has been waiting for a new managerial opportunity since the summer, this new job could be at the Premier League.
At first, it seemed like the Italian boss was close to be Solskjaer replacement at Manchester United, however, their dominant 3-0 win against Spurs saved the Norweigian manager's job.
However, United's win could have created another job opportunity for the former Chelsea boss back in England. According to 'TMW', Nuno's future at the club is on the line.
The North London club has five wins and five defeats this season and Nuno doesn't seem to get things going at Spurs at the moment, which is making the board consider other options for the job. Antonio Conte is being considered as the best option to replace the former Wolves manager.
Tottenham likes the Italian manager as he already proved himself in the Premier League as he lead city-neighbors Chelsea to the title back in the 2016-17 season. The main struggle to sign the Italian manager is his requested salary as Conte asks for 20 million euros per season.
