Torres unable to train due to knee injury
Fernando Torres was unable to attend Atletico Madrid training session on Tuesday due to a knee injury.
Atletico manager Diego Simeone confirmed on the club's official website that Fernando Torres picked up a knock to his right knee at Mestalla.
Simeone's statement reads, "Fernando Torres was not able to train with the rest of his team-mates in the first session of the week,"
"He will undergo medical and physical therapy treatment. He is pending evolution."
In Sunday's 3-1 victory at Valencia Torres scored only 10-minutes after coming on as a substitute.
