Jurrien Timber has expressed his delight following Arsenal's record-breaking 7-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, highlighting the team's creativity and energy as key factors in their success.

Jurrien Timber, the Dutch defender who scored Arsenal's opening goal against PSV Eindhoven, has reflected on the team's historic 7-1 win, describing it as "really nice" to return to his homeland and contribute to such a dominant performance.

"Obviously it's not my favourite place so it's nice to come back to Holland and score against PSV," Timber said, praising the assist from Declan Rice that set up his goal.

The 22-year-old defender noted the team's collective creativity: "Everyone was really creative today, really energetic from us, already I felt that even before the game".

Also, he emphasized the importance of capitalizing on scoring opportunities, "Going into the game I felt that the chances were going to be there and we took them as a team and we did amazing".

The victory marked a significant turnaround for Arsenal, who had struggled to find the net in recent matches. "We just have to take this confidence to the next game, not just the Champions League but on Sunday," he urged, highlighting the need to maintain momentum.
