Gianluigi Buffon's goodbye to the world of football could be closer than we all think. He will depart Juventus for the second time this summer and is in the process of considering his next destination, which could even be a well deserved retirement.

Buffon will leave Juventus in July, and is currently considering what to do with his career. He has a number of offers on the table and is already sure about where he doesn't want to play. However, the possibility of retiring is certainly well in his thoughts.

This is what Buffon himself explained to 'JTV'. "Juventus is a chapter in my life that I must close, I don't think there will be a sequel, as three years ago I thought about retiring. Now I am convinced, I wouldn't have a problem with hanging up my gloves", he stated.

"I have a beautiful family and many interests outside of football. I'm a dreamer", the veteran keeper added. It's clear that the Italian wants to continue, away from Juve and the Italian national team, but he also wouldn't take issue if he were to say goodbye to football altogether.
