Thiago Silva to join Real Madrid?
Paulo Tonietto, the Brazilian's agent, talked with 'OK Diario' about his client's future and revealed that Real Madrid are interested in him.
"Contract renewal? We haven't agreed yet on a new deal. We have to wait until December in order to discuss some aspects. If PSG don't participate in the next Champions League, Thiago will probably leave in summer 2017," said his agent.
We don't know if Tonietto wants to put pressure on PSG with this statement. This is probably the case, but the word will have got round to European clubs who could sign one of the best defenders in the world for free as of January.
As reported by the media, Real Madrid are one of the clubs which would like to sign him. He's still very fit for his 32 years and could support Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Raphael Varane.
Just one condition could make the signing a bit more difficult. If PSG qualify for the Champions League, which is very probable, his contract extends automatically one more year and Real would have to pay the release clause.
