Thiago Silva wants to lift the Champions League with PSG, a tournament that has resisted him since he arrived in the French capital. He will extend his contract to try and fulfil his wish.

Thiago Silva (35) arrived in Paris from Milan in 2012, but has not been able to achieve his dream of winning the Champions League with PSG and has experienced, year after year, the failure of the French champion in the top continental competition.

So, with this objective in mind, the Brazilian will automatically extend his contract by two months with PSG to try to win the title.

The defender, once considered one of the best central defenders in the world, has won everything at home, but luck is not smiling on him in Europe: the Champions League is the only title that has resisted him

Thiago Silva has been singled out on many of PSG's dark nights in Europe, such as the 6-1 win over Barça in 2017 or the elimination against United in 2019.

Tuchel will thus be able to count on the Brazilian in the fight for the coveted title, although he will not be able to do so with Kouassi, Meunier and Cavani. The coach was disappointed with the Parisian club's recent losses.
