Thiago Motta gets Spezia out of the relegation zone

The Italo Brazilian manager Thiago Motta earned this Saturday an important 2-1 win over Salernitana and left the relegation zone in Serie A.

Spezia came back against Salernita after the Nigerian Nwankwo Simy scored the opener in the Serie A matchday 8. David Strelec and Victor Kovalenko, midfielder on loan by Atalanta, both scored to complete an important comeback for Motta'a men.

Thiago Motta, took the Spezia job following his first Serie A expeirence with Genoa. He celebrated his first oficial win for Spezia after 3 consequitive defeats.

Salva Ferrer started for the Liguria's team, which didn't have Kevin Aguledo's available as he suffered a foot injury.

Spezia stand now fifteenth on the Serie A table with seven points and left Salernita in the 19th position with just 4 points.c
