The worst miss of Sanchez's career?
Alexis Sanchez was signed by Manchester United to add some cutting edge to their attack, but he had quite the opposite effect when the 'Red Devils' faced Newcastle at St James' Park on Sunday.
The Chilean was presented with a gilt-edged chance to open the scoring against the 'Magpies'. The 'Boy Wonder' drew Newcastle new boy Martin Dubravka off his line before rounding the Slovak with ease. It seemed a certain goal at that point, only for Sanchez to get the ball stuck beneath his feet, allowing Florian Lejeune to get in a vital block.
99% of the time Sanchez would have simply rolled the ball into the back of the net, but not on Sunday.
With the game level at 0-0 at the time of the miss, it proved to be a key moment, with Newcastle shocking their more illustrious rivals to run out 1-0 winners.
