In a bid to hone his players' technical skills, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel introduced small-ball activities in the final training session before the game against Burnley.

He has only been at Chelsea for a few days, but coach Thomas Tuchel is already making waves. The German coach made his debut with a dull goalless draw, but the team nevertheless showed a lot of room for improvement.

On Saturday, 'AS' newspaper ASB reported a devastating statistic: against Wolves, the Blues finished the game with 78.9 per cent possession and a total of 820 passes, the highest figure since the 2003-04 campaign for a manager making his Premier League debut.

But Tuchel is still trying to revolutionise the London side. That is why he introduced an exercise unheard of at Chelsea in the final training session ahead of Sunday's game against Burnley.

The German coach, in order to improve his players' technical skills, developed a selection of activities with mini-balls.
