The three million euros Neymar lost this week

Neymar left Barcelona to lead a team and be able to aspire to be the best player on the planet, either through 'The Best' or the Ballon d'Or. And the reality is that two years later, he is even farther from achieving it than he was as a Barça player.

According to UOL Esporte, Neymar will stop charging three million euros extra because he was not nominated. His contract with PSG reportedly had a specific clause which meant he would be charging 3 million euros for every year he was nominated. Everyone took this bonus for granted because who would have imagined Neymar would be out of the list of the ten best players on the planet? Well, the truth is that, between injuries and problems outside of his performance, Neymar has barely been able to play lately. And these kinds of awards don't escape those details.
The three million that Neymar will stop collecting will not be the only ones, because 'AS' informs that he lost another one when he arrived late to the training sessions and did not comply with the good behaviour bonus. He could even stop earning two more million because of his rebellious acts. With the footballer forced to decipher his future as soon as possible, at least before August 11, this type of low blows is yet another disappointment for the player and those who surround him, confirming that his 2019 has gone from bad to worse.
