French giants PSG swatted Rennes to one side in the French Cup on Sunday, scoring one of the goals of the season in the process.

Whilst the game quickly turned into something of a goal-fest, there was one strike in particular that got everyone talking, with PSG's fourth goal a veritable work of art.

It was a brutal counter-attack, started and finished by star man Neymar.

The goal came from a Rennes corner, with the home side piling bodies forward as they looked to overturn a three-goal deficit.

The visitors saw off the danger and quickly attacked themselves.

The ball dropped to Angel Di Maria, who palyed it into the path of Marco Verratti. At this point, Neymar was sent racing away down the left, with the Brazilian carrying the ball some 60 yards.

Di Maria had continued his march forward and after being fed by the Brazilian, he played a delightful reverse ball across the box and into the path of Kylian Mbappe, who cushioned the ball back for Neymar to stroke home.

It was a glorious demonstration of PSG's attacking prowess as they ran out 6-1 winners in the game.
