Mo Salah has quite simply shone for Liverpool so far this season, so much so that his stats measure up against Cristiano Ronaldo's.

Perhaps the best complement the Egyptian can be handed is that his figures this campaign put him right up there among the greats of the modern game in Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Salah's development has been incredible, with the Liverpool star having found the net 43 times in all competitions this campaign, having only failed to score in 15 of his 48 appearances.

The 25-year-old has been a bastion of consistency in fornt of goal, having scored in seven consecutive games (11 goals in total) before drawing a blank against Stoke at the weekend.

That tally of having only failed to find the net in 15 games is a stat that Salah shares with Ronaldo. To show how impressive that figure is, Messi has failed to score in 24 games this campaign.

When you looked closer, Salah's stats become even more eye-catching, with the Egypt international having played 48 games, some seven more than Ronaldo.

Whilst Roma continue to believe in the miracle they need to progress, the stats don't look good for them claiming a clean sheet, with Salah only having gone two games without scoring twice all season and three games just once.
