The Olympiastadion in Berlin is one of the most historic and important stadiums in Germany. It was built as a venue for the 1936 Olympics and has always remained at the forefront of German sports facilities.
Last weekend, Hertha played a relevant match above all because of the anniversary of the date: 9th November, 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. But behind the spectacular images on display, the coliseum of the German capital hides a less known detail.
Although in the majority of stadiums you must go down or upstairs, in Berlin they are more comfortable. Since 2010, the date of the stadium's latest renovations, the players can go down escalators.
The image of the Hertha squad, alongside their mascot, with somewhat strange gestures, is one of the most curious scenes left by the Berlin Olympiastadion in recent years.
