Neither Real Madrid nor Paris Saint-Germain would have hoped for their opponents in the Champions League last 16 ahead of the draw on Monday. The French giants will be boosted by Neymar's previous exploits in the Spanish capital.

Two goals and two assists to his name in three trips to the Santiago Bernabeu speak for themselves. A 'Clasico' away from home was always the perfect excuse to shine against Barcelona's bitter rivals.

The Brazilian still has fond memories of Real Madrid's home ground. In his first visit, Barcelona came away with a 4-3 win thanks to a hat-trick from Lionel Messi. But Neymar also contributed to the scoreline by setting up the Argentine for one of his goals before managing to get Sergio Ramos sent off.

In his second 'Clasico' fixture at the Bernabeu, Neymar opened the scoring by going past several defenders before sliding the ball into the bottom corner past Casillas. Real Madrid came back to win 3-1 but the Brazilian will always cherish his first goal in such a huge clash.

He enjoyed his last trip to the iconic stadium the most. Barcelona thrashed Real 4-0 with Neymar taking the spotlight. He scored the second goal of the game and provided an assist for Andres Iniesta with a sublime back-heel.

Just when Madrid fans breathed a sigh of relief following his departure from La Liga, an old foe will return to the Bernabeu. The capricious plays of destiny have granted Neymar another chance to further his legacy at the Bernabeu.
