Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel spoke to the press after being knocked out by Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
Manchester City booked their place in the next round with a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena in the second leg after Pep Guardiola's side won the first leg at the Etihad 3-0.
Otherwise, Bayern Munich were eliminated from the Champions League despite their best efforts. German boss Thomas Tuchel is very disappointed with the referee's decisions as he was sent off with a double yellow card.
"The referee unfortunately was grade E," Tuchel told reporters. However, the 49-year-old is very satisfied with his team's performances.
"We had them on the ropes twice, tonight more so than in Manchester. We had no luck over the 180 minutes, though. I'm very pleased with both performances against Manchester City and the manner in which we played today. We went toe to toe with the best team in Europe at the moment," he said.
