According to Spanish daily 'Mundo Deportivo', sources close to the club have explained that, by leaving Neymar out of the squad, they expect the team to concentrate as much as possible on the decisive clash against Real Madrid.
Neymar had become one of the prime focuses ahead of the fixture at the Bernabeu, without even knowing if he would be available to play. This way, Barcelona will hope to avoid any distractions.
As reported by 'Mundo Deportivo', Barcelona were convinced that they could line up Neymar. They even went to the lengths of seeking legal advice to make sure they were within the law.
However, the club's sphere are not ready to risk a potential sanction . 'We do not want to have to win the league in the offices, we want to win on the pitch', were the words from the club's source. Barcelona have preferred not to take any risks as the panel of refereeing (TAD) would hold the upper hand.
