Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang declared the race for the Bundesliga golden boot is on, stating he is used to catching in-form Lewandowski.
Aubameyang, who won the golden boot last season after scoring 31 goals, currently finds himself level with Augsburg's Alfred Finnbogason and Leipzig's Timo Werner with four Bundesliga goals this season, while Lewandowski is top of the scoring chart with six.
But the Gabon international is not afraid to chase down the Bayern Munich striker: 'The race is on. When Lewy moves ahead, I am used to catching him up', Aubameyang told German outlet 'Bild'.
Last season, the Dortmund man swooped in for the award in the final fixture, as the rivalry between both centre-forward continues: 'It's enough for me to overtake him shortly before the season finishes', he warned Lewandowski.
