He's going, he's staying, he wants more money, he's going to Madrid...You could start a newspaper that wrote exclusively about Neymar's life. He has been making headlines ever since he left Santos, with his words and actions, combined with those of his father, providing a never-ending news story.

If the news broke tomorrow that Neymar was going to renew his contract until 2020, the day after you could be sure to see a new story saying that Madrid were going to break the world record fee to buy him in summer. This is what Neymar does; he is a money-making machine that emits a constant stream of news stories.

Neymar is a dream for newspapers around the globe. A day doesn't go by without a new story about him. This is the case in Paris, in Madrid, in Brazil, and even in England. PSG's number 10 is a global superstar on the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, however he is often spoken about more for his actions off the field than those on it.

Neymar is a walking business; nothing he does is by accident. Everything is planned and studied, and his father is the mastermind behind it all. Just recently, Neymar Sr. took advantage of PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi's visit to Brazil to launch a message of unity between the club and his son, who was curiously absent from the gesture. All this coming just seven months after the player signed for the French side.

But what else do you expect? Al-Khelaifi, under the pressure of his failing European project, had to go to Brazil. Neymar's return home had led to yet more speculation; a supposed meeting with Madrid officials here, a charm offensive from Real's Brazilian stars there...it all puts even more of a burden on PSG.

With these cards on the table, it was unfeasible that Neymar would do anything other than confirm his commitment to PSG. This is a players who said in November that he went to PSG for added 'responsibility', but now wants more money to continue being responsible.

The same man that, after leaving Barcelona, and complaining about a missing bonus payment from the club, then allowed rumours to circulate that he wanted to return to the side. All the while, he dances with his cast on in Brazil, and spends his nights in clubs

Even once the season draws to a close, Neymar will continue to dominate the headlines. Once he returns from injury he will be centre-stage as Brazil challenge for the World Cup, and all the while the Real Madrid rumours will continue. Even if he does sign for the Spanish side, he will carry on making headlines. Neymar's life is a sitcom, and that's not going to change.
