The keeper who speaks to his defenders in... three different languages!
Arsenal keeper Petr Cech also excels when it comes to languages. He speaks five, which helps him to communicate with his teammates.
The goalkeeper spoke about his methods to avoid misunderstandings when commanding his defence, something within reach of very few footballers.
'I speak to Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin in Spanish, Laurent Koscielny in French and Per Mertesacker, who is German, I speak to in English because it is the same for me', Cech explained.
As well as the mentioned three languages, the goalkeeper knows Czech, his mother tongue, and German. Arsenal's multilingual defence is in capable hands.
