Carlo Ancelotti's tenure at Bayern Munich has come to an end. The reason? Hoeness was pretty clear: 'There were five players against Ancelotti'. German daily 'Bild' has given the names of those who turned against the Italian manager.

1. Arjen Robben

The Dutchman and Ancelotti clashed more than once. After the defeat in Paris, Robben was asked if the team was still behind Ancelotti, to which he responded: 'I will not answer that. It was a painful defeat'.

2. Franck Ribery

Ribery and Ancelotti also didn't see eye to eye. The line was very thin between kissing after a match and getting into a fight. Ultimately, the Frenchman got his way...

3. Thomas Müller

'Bild' have claimed that the third player to turn on Ancelotti was none other than Muller. His role at the club was less important with the Italian, whom the German striker never really understood.

4. Jerome Boateng

The defender also clashed with Carlo, who left him out of the lineup for the Champions League fixture. He then stated he regretted his decision, but it was too late...

5. Mats Hummels

'Bild' also mentioned the other central defender as part of mutiny to overthrow Ancelotti. 'He had five players that opposed him and that is an impossible situation', Bayern president Uli Hoeness said.
