Reports in Spain claim that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has drafted a five-man transfer shortlist as he looks to overhaul his squad in the summer.

Los Blancos have struggled to keep up with rivals Barcelona in La Liga this season and currently sit 10 points behind Ernesto Valverde's men.

They also failed to win their Champions League group, a competition which they have won in the past two seasons, and their second place finish in Group H was confirmed last night, when Tottenham emerged victorious against Borussia Dortmund.

According to Spanish publication 'Diario Gol', Florentino Perez wants to have a busy summer with regard to big signings in order to resolve this problem, and he has drafted a list with five targets he wants to secure.

The wishlist includes Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, Paris-Saint Germain defender Marquinhos and Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

It is thought that one of the reasons for Madrid's failures this campaign was failing to replace Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez and Pepe as they departed for Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Besiktas respectively.

Cristiano Ronaldo has also struggled compared to his usual high standards, managing just one goal in eight La Liga appearances this campaign.

Kane and Dybala are reportedly Perez's favourites to bolster the European champions' attacking options and it's easy to see why, as Kane has eight Premier League goals for Tottenham so far this season and Dybala has contributed 12 goals in 13 Serie A games for Juventus.

Meanwhile, Alli is seen as a possible replacement fo Dani Ceballos, who has struggled to find a place in the Real Madrid team after joining from Real Betis in the summer.

Although David de Gea remains a long-term target for Perez, reports suggest that Bilbao's Kepa is more likely to join Madrid in the summer than his counterpart at Manchester United.

Marquinhos has also been identified to strengthen the defensive line which often looks exposed when either Sergio Ramos or Raphael Varane are absent.

Do you think Real Madrid will be able to land all five of their targets? Or should they look elsewhere?
