Gareth Bale is talked about almost every day. His performances for Real Madrid and Wales have put him again in the spotlight, but the winger is carrying on doing his own thing and he is trying to calm the situation at the Bernabeu. In an interview he has assured that he now knows how to deal with the boos.

The Welsh winger has played ten matches so far this season and eight of them as a starter. With two goals and two assists, his contribution to the team has left a lot to be desired.

Zidane basically showed him the exit door, but he once again showed faith in him  even after spending more than a month and half sidelined because of an injury which even the French coach himself could not explain in press conferences.

Wales' qualification for Euro 2020 made Bale celebrate with a flag which has caused him to be booed on his return to the Bernabeu. "I think the first time I was booed, it as a bit of a shock. I didn't know very well how to deal with it, but as I've got older, it's happened one or two more times and you understand how to deal with it," he said in an interview with 'BT Sport'.

On his return to the Bernabeu, Bale contributed in one of the goals and could have even scored with the last kick of the game against PSG, something which helped calm the agitated crowd down

"'Now I just shrug it off. In a way, with respect it's the best place to get whistled if you don't perform which I understand. Obviously I have to just keep working hard and keep proving to the fans what I can do. Eventually the whistles do stop and you get on with your career like normal," Bale continued.

Bale was asked about Mourinho signing for Tottenham and he was full of praise for the Portuguese. "Having Mourinho there is an amazing statement from the club, I think he's a serial winner. Tottenham want to win trophies and I don't think there's a better partnership," the Welshman ended.
