Jose Mourinho became the new Tottenham coach after the unexpected sacking of Mauricio Pochettino, after six historic seasons at the helm. Apparently, the Portuguese immediately accepted the post, but he would only take over under one condition: keep Harry Kane in the team.

'The Mirror' says that, the Portuguese coach put a condition before accepting the post which Mauricio Pochettino left vacant after six historic seasons at Spurs.
Mourinho asked for Harry Kane to remain at the club. He is a key goalscorer and an indisputable leader of the dressing room. The Portuguese believes he is key for the North Londoners.
The ex-Man Utd coach says it is indispensable for the England international striker to remain in the team and Levy's plan is for the club to do whatever possible to keep him.
