As Arsenal offer the pair a 20 per cent pay rise to stay at the Emirates, here are the clubs the two Gunners could join.

The pair are tipped with leaving north London this summer, despite huge pay hikes designed to entice Alexis Sanchez and Ozil to stay. Many clubs would be prepared to offer one or the other exciting opportunities, starting with Champions football they will miss if they stay at the Emirates.

Alexis Sanchez could reunite with former boss Guardiola at Manchester City, a move that would be huge for Alexis' career as well as decisive for the Citizens' Premier League title bid.

Thought Arsenal would rather not sell to a Premier League rival, Chelsea are also strong contenders to sign the Chilean. However, Bayern Munich looks a more attractive proposition; the striker could join his Chile teammate Arturo Vidal in playing for one of Europe's most ambitious clubs.

Sanchez could also return to Italy, after his spell at Udinese before joining Barcelona. Juventus' Champions League hopes would be seriously boosted by Alexis' signing.

PSG seem to be in the market for any talent that catches their eye. The Chilean could bring hunger and desire to the French side, who also aim to lift the Champions League trophy.

Mesut Ozil has fewer suitors that his teammate, and his talents have mostly been called upon outside Europe's top leagues.

The former Madrid man could join Fenerbahce, his boyhood club, though that would seriously dent his 2018 World Cup hopes.

A place in Joachim Low's starting lineup in Russia next year would also be the issue with a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League and, at 28, a move to China does not seem like a good career decision.
