Marc-Andre Ter Stegen was absent for Barcelona's visit to Betis this Saturday due to feeling unwell. The club confirmed this, but failed to give further detail on the state of the German goalkeeper.
However, now it seems as though Ter Stegen has almost recovered fully as he returned to training this Sunday. Barca's keeper worked away from the rest of the group with all intentions focused on returning to the starting eleven for Celta's visit on Tuesday.
Despìte not yet returning to full group training, his place in the starting eleven for the upcoming match has not been ruled out.
Barca themselves have confirmed that Ter Stegen has been "training specifically" away from the rest of his teammates. Depending on his performance in training on Monday, the Barcelona keeper could see himself back on Xavi's team sheet on Tuesday.
