Ter Stegen's latest wonder save
Another day, another stunning stop from Barcelona's Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. The German was in fine form once again on Sunday as he prevented Villarreal from taking a first-half lead.
Ter Stegen has been one of Barca's stand-out players in what has been a fine start to the season and he showed his quality once again with 15 minutes gone at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
Mario Gaspar got down the right and crossed for Roberto Soriano, who unleashed a well-struck volley at goal.
Soriano must have been confident of the effort finding the net, but he hadn't counted on Ter Stegen's superb reflexes.
The German dived away to his left to produce a fine one-handed stop to maintain parity.
