Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen leapt to the defence of his opposite number Ledesma after German television mocked the Cadiz goalkeeper for being unable to save Ousmane Dembele's shot. The author of the tweet has now apologised.

Goals are often published on social media not long after they go in by broadcasters and 'DAZN Germany' did precise that after Barcelona scored their fourth goal against Cadiz in Saturday's La Liga match. The goal came after the game had been halted for 55 minutes because of a medical emergency in the stands.

'DAZN' deleted the tweet and apologised. They claimed they were unaware there had been a medical emergency earlier. "We express our apologies for the inappropiate tweet on the match between Cadiz and Barca, which we have now deleted. We had only seen the goals and posted it and we weren't aware of the serious events which had already occurred in the game. We wish the person affected a speedy recovery."
