Marc-Andre ter Stegen has returned to Barcelona's matchday squad and is expected to start against Valladolid. Pablo Torre, meanwhile, has been ruled out at the last minute due to discomfort in his left knee.

Ter Stegen is the standout name in Hansi Flick's squad list for Saturday's fixture. The German goalkeeper, who featured in the squad for the recent Clasico but was left out against Inter, is now back in contention.

His inclusion comes as Flick is expected to rotate heavily ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg against the Italians.

One player who was in line for minutes against Valladolid but has been withdrawn is Pablo Torre. The midfielder is suffering from discomfort in his left knee and has not been included.

"His return to group training will depend on how his condition evolves," the club stated in the official medical report.

Torre joins an already lengthy injury list, which includes Jules Kounde—forced off early against Inter—Robert Lewandowski, Alejandro Balde and Marc Casado, although the latter has begun training with the group once again.
