The Italian managed to surprise Ter Stegen in the Champions League by taking a pot shot from pretty much the half way line. the precise and unstoppable shot meant that Stegen could only helplessly watch the ball fall into the back of net.
Wendell Lira (Goianésia 2 - 1 Atlético GO)
This spectacular over-head bicycle kick rightly gives Lira a place in the top-three. The build-up play is incredible, and the technique to steer the ball past the keeper is second to none.
Leo Messi (Barcelona 3 - 1 Athletic de Bilbao)
