Sevilla 3-0 Monchengladbach

Sevilla managed to blast three past Gladbach in ther Champions League return. The Andalucians dominated the game which ended in a healthy win in Pizjuán.

Manchester City 1-2 Juventus

Juventus managed to make an impressive comback in the final few acts of the game, with goals from Mandzukic and Morata. Yet again it would seem that City have failed to win their opening game at home

GRUPO C

Galatasaray 0-2 Atlético de Madrid

Griezmann showed his leadership for Atleti by scoring both goals, which were enough to secure victory in Estambul.

Benfica 2-0 Astana

Gaitán and Mitroglou put Benfica in front to make sure all 3 points were gained in Lisbon, to the enjoyment of all watching at Da Luz.

PSV 2-1 Manchester United

Van Gaal's side had a tough night in their opening game, after the comeback from PSV and the brutal injury to defender Luke Shaw, who suffered a broken tibia.

Wolfsburgo 1-0 CSKA de Moscú

Just one goal from Draxler was enough to make sure the Germans won their opening game.

PSG 2-0 Malmoe

Di María created a wonderful goal which was followed by a header from Cavani, leaving the Sweedish team in the dust.

Real Madrid 4-0 Shakhtar

It was a busy night for Cristiano Ronaldo who managed to get a hat-trick after Karim Benzema had opened up the score sheet.
