Swansea City's Nathan Dyer has been ruled out for two months with an ankle injury.

The winger requires surgery on an injured ankle and has "extra bone growth" in the joint.

Dyer said: "I saw a specialist last week and the MRI scan revealed the extra bone growth at the back of my ankle. There is not a lot I can do about it".

The Swansea man spent last season on loan at Leicester where he won the Premier League title with the Foxes.
