The Dutch international has completed a permanent move to the club, after a successful loan spell from Queens Park Rangers.

Swansea have confirmed the signing of Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old has signed a three-year deal after impressing manager Francesco Guidolin whilst on loan last season.

I’m very happy, from the first minute I felt at home,” he told the club's official website.

“We did very good in the second half of the season. If we play like that, we can aim for higher, and that’s what we want. Hopefully some new strong players will come in to help us. It makes it easier for me as well, if a coach wants you.

"Guidolin was really happy with how I gelled with the team and he said that I did very, very good. He was surprised because he didn’t know much about me. But I said to him that I just wanted to prove myself.”
