Aston Villa's new signing Alex Moreno could start the match against Leeds United. Nevertheless, he came on from the bench. The Catalan winger made his Premier League debut after just ten minutes when Lucas Digne was injured.

Aston Villa signed Spanish defender Alex Moreno from Real Betis for a reported 15 million euros on Wednesday.

The former Betis player could make his Premier League debut against Leeds United on Friday. They will face Jesse Marsch's side at Villa Park.

Much is expected of Alex Moreno as good reports of his performances have been coming in from Seville.

"I wish you all the best and that you continue to achieve your goals and above all that you never stop dreaming, because we have seen that dreams do come true," said the defender before moving to the Premier League.

Ten minutes after coming off the bench against Leeds United, he had to come on because his teammate Lucas Digne was injured. As a result, he was forced to make his Premier League debut earlier than expected.
