One of Celtic's star men, Ryan Christie, didn't expect his side's match against Livingston to go so bad. He got sent off for a hard studded challenge on Scott Robinson's shin and received all types of insults. The pressure was so much that he deleted his Twitter account.

One thing that is part of football is contact. When players fight for the ball there are pushing, stamps and kicks. More than once has it involved a hand or a foot when trying to get the ball, and that happened to him.

He went for the ball after an opposing player controlled it, but perhaps the tension at the time or the excessive desire to get the ball, made him tackle Robinson badly. He could have seriously injured him.

The referee, Willie Collum, didn't think twice and handed him a red card. To make things worse, his team lost 2-0, but what he didn't expect was that he would get a tonne of abuse on the internet.

Christie got to the point that he saw it necessary to delete his Twitter account. On this social network site, anyone can mention anyone who also has a profile, to tell them anything whether it is anonymous or with their first and second name, and he was affected greatly.
