The Lyon manager, Sylvinho, is going through a real results crisis. The ex Barcelona player recognises that the situation can't go on like this and they have to beat Nantes at all costs.

After starting the season with goal fests in the 3-0 win away to Monaco and the 6-0 win at home to Angers, everyone expected Lyon to be near the top of the table.

Lyon currently find themselves in a more delicate position in Ligue 1.

They lie 11th and haven't won in 5 league games, and Sylvinho is aware of the need for the team who aren't short of critics to win.

"We are in a state of emergency. We need to win at all costs. We must win against Nantes and for that we need dynamism, commitment, and a good performance", the Brazilian said in his press conference.

Despite the situation, Sylvinho seems to have the board's support at the moment. "We have the support of everyone, including the staff and the president, at this difficult time," the manager said who could see how that confidence fades fi they doon't win..
