Reports in England claim that Tottenham have a surprising name in mind to replace striker Vincent Janssen, should the Dutchman leave the club this summer.

English publication 'The Sun' reports that the Londoners could be set for a shock swoop for Liverpool striker Divock Origi, who is suprlus to requirements at Anfield.

The deal is dependent on Dutch flop Vincent Janssen sealing a move away from the club before Thursday's deadline, with Tottenham open to offers for the former AZ Alkmaar man.

The striker endured a tought season last time out for Mauricio Pochettino's side, scoring just two goals in 27 Premier League games. Depite this, his stock is still high in Europe, where many suitors prefer to look at his record of seven goals in 13 games for what is an average Dutch national side by their standards.

Mauricio Pochettino has spoken of the difficulty in signing a striker, with players reluctant to move to Spurs and play second fiddle to Harry Kane, though it is though that Origi would be open to the move and the youngster certainly fits the profile of a potential Spurs signing.
