Spurs ahead of Arsenal in race for Malcom
According to the 'Daily Mail', the Brazilian winger's representatives have met Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino and were impressed by his "vision and plans for the future".
This comes after reports early in January that several Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United were interested in signing the 20-year-old.
But it appears that the North London club has stolen a march on their league rivals, with Pochettino's team leading the race after that meeting between the manager and the player's representatives.
Bordeaux allegedly don't want to sell their star during the season but could be willing to strike a deal now with a view to a move in the summer.
Malcom has made 68 appearances for the French side, scoring 15 times, since joining from Corinthians in 2013 and is considered a fan favourite.
