According to reports in Spanish publication 'Sport', Tottenham Hotspur are plotting an ambitious €50m move for Barcelona forward Malcom in January.

Life at the Camp Nou is proving somewhat strange for Malcom at the moment. The Brazilian arrived at the club from Bordeaux in the summer after the Spanish champions moved in late on to hijack Roma's move for the talented attacker.

However, since then he has barely featured, playing just 25 minutes in official matches. Thoses numbers don't exactly stack up given the effort that was made to bring him to the club, with some onlookers suggesting that he wasn't a player that Manager Ernesto Valverde particularly wanted, something Valverde himself has denied.

Regardless, there are a host of clubs monitoring his situation closely, with the aforementioned source claiming that Spurs, who were heavily linked with the player in the summer, are ready to splash €50m on him in January.

They are by no means along in the chase, though, with Inter and Arsenal also said to be keeping an eye on the situation. Whilst he is yet to be given a real chance at Barca, Malcom's impressive performances at a young age in Ligue 1 mean that many clubs still see him as one of the top young players in European football, with his last two seasons with 'Les Girondins' having seen him rack up 21 goals and 13 assists in 83 appearances.

It is worth pointing out that the same reports says that neither the player of his current employers are entertaining the idea of an exit, at least not in January, with both parties believing the Samba star has what it takes to make a success of himself at Barca.
